Katy Perry’s Daring Attire Steals the Show at Much Music Awards

Jennifer Lopez recently donned a sparkly catsuit reminiscent of Britney Spears’ “Toxic” era during a performance in Panama. Similarly, Katy Perry rocked a sheer outfit at the MuchMusic Video Awards 2012, using it as a way to channel a butterfly on stage. Perry changed into three different outfits throughout the night, including a black gladiator-style gown for the red carpet and a demure pants ensemble during the show. For her performance of “Wide Awake,” Perry wore a glittery butterfly outfit, shedding the butterfly wings after her performance to receive her Best International Artist trophy. However, without the wings, the suit proved to be too sheer, causing Perry to grimace in pain on stage. Fortunately, she was able to use her trophy to shield her private areas from the cameras.

Katy Perry made a bold fashion statement when she received the “UR Fave International Artist” award at the 2012 Much Music Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. She wore a nude bodysuit during the ceremony and was presented with the award by Lucy Hale, who is best known for her role in the TV series “Pretty Little Liars.”

On June 17th, 2012, Katy Perry took the stage at the MuchMusic Video Awards held at the MuchMusic headquarters in Toronto, Canada. She gave a mesmerizing performance that left the audience in awe. George Pimentel captured the moment with his camera, and his photograph has become a part of music history.
